Tactical Space Command (TSC) is an abstract space combat command simulation where you are in command of a fleet, delegating orders to the ships and task forces under your command and monitoring your fleet's progress via a combat Information system style interface. Push command and space buttons together to bring up the Spotlight Search bar. Type in the word Terminal and click on the first suggestion. Either of these two methods will bring up the Mac command prompt and it will look like a black box as below. Depending on your Terminal setting, the appearance may look different.

PEO C4I and Space Systems is the Navy's first line to acquire the right communication and technology tools to deliver affordable, integrated and interoperable information warfare capabilities to the fleet. PEO C4I is headquartered at NAVWAR's Old Town Campus in San Diego, CA. Rear Adm. Kurt Rothenhaus is a native of New York City, New York. He received his commission in 1992 upon graduating the University of South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and transferred into the Engineering Duty Officer community in 2003.

His shore tours include; Program Manager for PMW 160, Tactical Networks, at PEO-C4I, Commanding Officer of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific and Deputy Program Manager for Navy Communications and GPS Program Office (PMW/A-170). Additionally he served as the Assistant Program Manager for the Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Services (CANES) and the Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) Assistant Program Manager in the Navy Command and Control Program Office (PMW-150).

Dr. Robert E. Parker, Jr.

Acting Executive Director, Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I)/Program Executive Officer, Space Systems (PEO Space Systems)

Dr. Robert Parker is a Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Distinguished Senior Scientific Technical Manager serving as the Deputy
PEO C4I for Technical Direction and Capability Integration. He also concurrently serves as the PEO C4I, PEO Space Systems, Acting Executive Director. Dr. Parker is responsible for identifying technologies to advance current PEO C4I capabilities, defining future Information Warfare Platform capabilities, and driving systems-of-system engineering across PEO C4I and other Navy programs to promote common, interoperable architectures. Dr.
Parker is concurrently serving as the acting PEO C4I and SS Executive
Director.

  • From September 1999 to March 2002, he served as the Technical Director for the Navy SATCOM Program Office (PMW 176). He later served as Project Manager for INMARSAT and Division Director for Military and Commercial SATCOM in addition to his Technical Director responsibilities.
  • From April 2002 to September 2007, he served as the Deputy Program Manager for the Naval Afloat Networks Program Office (PMW 165) and the Deputy Program Manager for the Networks, IA, and Enterprise Services Program Office (PMW 160) with responsibility for one ACAT II and several ACAT III programs.
  • From September 2007 to September 2011, he served as the Program Manager for PMW 120, the Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations Program Office, with responsibility for two ACAT IAM programs and one ACAT II program.

Prior to his program management billets, he served at the Naval Nuclear Power School in Orlando Florida as an instructor, completed a Surface Warfare qualification tour aboard USS JOUETT (CG 29) and served as the Production Officer at SIMA San Diego.

Dr. Parker received the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award in 2016. Captain Parker's personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), the Navy Commendation medal (two awards), and the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal. Captain Parker also received the Navy's Copernicus Award in 2005.

Dr. Parker received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1999 from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California where his research covered wireless low-bit-rate video compression and ATM networking. Previous degrees include a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1985 from North Carolina State University.
